"What do you know about photography and/or photo editing? Do you take photos? How do you take photos? Do you edit photos before posting them on social media? How do you edit them? My best friend, Ally, is a photographer. She's a freelance music photographer and goes to Lawrence a lot to take pictures at the venues there. Also, her and I will go to Loose Park, the Art District, and the Westbottoms sometimes to take pictures of each other. She took a lot of pictures of be while we were out in California for spring break as well. Sometimes I'll help her edit photos on Photoshop or another program on her Mac. We play with the contrast, saturation, tints, blurring effects, etc. I'm fairly comfortable behind a camera, but I know that I'm definitely not as skilled as Ally.

Blog Post of the Day:
I went to San Diego, California with my best friend Ally and her parents Don and Carey, her brothers Ryan and Andrew, and Andrew's friend Spencer. We've both been to San Diego before so we were planning on spending most of our time around the Mission Bay area. Her parents got Andrew, Spencer, Ally and me our own separate room from the rest of the group. We could do whatever we wanted as long as we told Carey where we were. Ally and I spent a lot of time walking and riding our bikes along Mission Bay Drive and the boardwalk along the beach and shopping in the stores. At night we would go out on the board walk and would find a lot of college parties at houses that were right next to the board walk. We met a lot of really awesome people! We looked at a fully furnished apartment that was right on the beach because Ally and I want to move up to San Diego for a few months the summer after graduation. One day I drove ally and me up to La Jolla in the rental car. On the last day that we were in San Diego, we drove up to SDSU and drove around the campus. I hope to be going back up to San Diego in the Fall for a college visit. I love San Diego, I feel like it's home for me.

What are you doing for Spring Break?
On Sunday, I'm leaving to go to San Diego with my friend Ally and her family. We're staying right on Mission Bay in Northern San Diego. Both Ally and I have been there so we don't plan on going to any of the tourist attractions. We're just going to lay on the beach, drive up to LA for a day, and go shopping. I'm wanting to learn how to surf and paddle board so we'll most likely do that as well. I'm just excited to be going to the beach :)

1. Dress for success!
2. Speak with confidence.
3. Stand tall and have good posture.
4. Don't fold your arms.
